ADAMS, Dorothy B. 64, of Roanoke, died Monday, August 28, 1995. She was a graduate of Mary Baldwin College. Mrs. Adams was an active member and Elder of Green Ridge Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her husband of 43 years, J. Frank Adams; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas F. and Joy A. Adams, Bowie, Md.; daughter and son-in-law, Margaret A. and William H. Lindsey, Roanoke; grandchildren, W. Alexander Lindsey and Hannah Joy Adams. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Green Ridge Presbyterian Church or a favorite charity. A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens by Dr. William R. Cole. The family will receive friends at the home 443 Elden Avenue, Roanoke, VA. BRADSHAW, Danny Eugene, 48, of Bland, died Sunday, August 27, 1995. He was born February 25, 1947 at Bluefield, W. Va., the son of Mrs. Elizabeth Williams Bradshaw Bland and the late Frank Bradshaw Jr. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Linda Earnest Bradshaw; two sons, Danny Eugene (D.J) Bradshaw Jr., Bland, Davey Lee Bradshaw, Rocky Gap; one daughter, Julie Ann Bradshaw, Bland; three brothers, Teddy Bradshaw and Barry Bradshaw, both of Bland; Bobby Bradshaw, Keene Mountain; one sister, Mrs. James (Rita Gail) Buckner Jr., Bland; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Barbara Bradshaw, Bland; three grandchildren, Chase, Hank and Hunter Bradshaw. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate. Burial in the Hidden Valley Cemetery, Bland. Visiting will be at the funeral home Wednesday after 1 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. The family suggests memorials be the Bland County Band.

BREAKELL, Ruth Byrne, 43, of Lynchburg, formerly of Roanoke, died Sunday, August 27, 1995. Arrangements by Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.

BROWN, Ollie Calvin, 86, of Roanoke, died Monday, August 28, 1995 at his home. He was a member of Edgewood Christian Church and a veteran of WW II. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Eula D. Brown of 49 years; numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be from Oakey's North Chapel, 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, with Rev. Marion G. Harris officiating. Interment will be in the Brown Family Cemetery, Franklin County.

CLASBEY, Carl Wesley, of Botetourt Co., died Sunday, August 27, 1995. He was a retired local banker and a former federal bank examiner. Mr. Clasbey was a member of Catawba Valley Baptist Church, and had been active in many civic organizations. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and two brothers. Funeral services will be conducted at Oakey's North Chapel 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 30, 1995. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. FERNATT, Goldie Inez, 87, of Roanoke, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, August 27, 1995. She was preceded in death by her husband, C. E. Fernatt; four sons, Gilbert, Don, Russell and Edward Fernatt. Mrs. Fernatt was a member of the Roanoke Valley Cathedral of Praise. GOODMAN, Mark Edward, 35, of Roanoke, passed away Monday, August 28, 1995. Survivors include his mother, Ruth G. White, Roanoke; one brother, Matthew White, Beckley, W.Va.; four aunts and five uncles, Clara (Robert) Turner, Roanoke, Sarah Scruggs, Decatur, Ga., James Levi Hale, William (Ernestine) Hale, William Goodman, all of Roanoke, Thomas (Bonnie) Hale, Yorktown Heights, N.Y.; and a host of cousins other relatives and friends. MABRY, William Edward, 65, of Blacksburg, died Saturday, August 26, 1995 at Lewis Gale Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margie Atkinson Mabry and William L. Mabry. He was lifelong resident of Blacksburg and was employed by Electro-Tec, Inc. in Blacksburg for 41 years prior to his retirement in 1992. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in Germany with the US Army Medical Corp and was also a member of the Blacksburg Christian Church. Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Wilma Franklin Mabry of Blacksburg; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathi and Doug Reed, Blacksburg; Patti and Undra Williams, Christiansburg; a grandson, William David Reed; a granddaughter, Tina Coleman; a brother and sister-in-law, Melvin Gerald and Diane Mabry, Radford; two sisters, Sylvia Slusher and Eva Tawes, both of Blacksburg; parents-in-law, Van and Virginia Franklin, Dublin; special nieces and nephews including George and Carol Tawes, Evon and Michael Glasgow, Sandra and Bob Daniels, and Billy Mabry; a dearly loved pet, Inky; and many loving friends. In recognition of the love and care from the New River Valley Hospice the family suggests memorials be made to Hospice or the American Cancer Society. POFF, Charles H., (``Buster""), 80, of Salem, went to be with the Lord, Monday, August 28, 1995. Mr. Poff was a member of First Wesleyan Church and retired from the Signal Department of Norfolk-Southern Railway after 37 years of service. He was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara P. Morris; a grandson, Kevin S. Morris. Surviving are his wife, Elva G. Poff; brother, Roy Poff, Newport News; several nieces and nephews; a number of special friends including Steve and Bonnie Chewning, Tom and Diane Martin, all of Salem. She is survived by her husband, Arnold (``Sonny"") Stafford; two daughters, Cindy Lassiter of Glen Allen, Janice Thomas of Richmond; four grandchildren; in addition, she is survived by two brothers, Malcolm L. Jamison of Roanoke and Barry R. WRIGHT, Lucy H. 90, of 1785 Longwood Ave., Bedford passed away, Saturday, August 26, 1995, in Prince George Hospital, Blandenburg Maryland, after a short illness. She was a faithful member of Lovely Zion Baptist Church, in Bedford where she served on the Deaconess Board and the Missionary. Those she leaves to mourn her loss; two sons, James Wright, Bedford, Riley H. Wright, Blandenburg Md; three daughters, Julia Evans and Ruth Scott, both of Washington D.C., Regina Jackson, Bedford; two daughters-in-law, Clara Wright, Brenda Wright; one son-in-law, Rosetta Scott; 19 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, August 31, 1995 at the Lovely Zion Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Longwood Family Cemetery in Bedford. The remains will lay in state 2 hours prior to service. Bedford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
