4 MEN BEAT DRIVER ON MARSHALL AVE.

Four men pulled a driver from his four-wheel-drive vehicle in the 600 block of Marshall Avenue Southwest late Wednesday and beat him.

Police said the man told them the incident occurred about 11:15 p.m. The man was treated at Community Hospital of Roanoke Valley for injuries to his face and head. Police said there was no apparent reason for the beating.

No arrests had been made Thursday.
