SPOTSWOOD RIPS ALLEGHANY, 14-0

Todd Campbell made two first-half touchdown passes to Ian Fischer stand up as Spotswood beat Alleghany 14-0 in non-district football action Friday.

Campbell hit 9 of 17 passes for 137 yards. He connected with Fischer for 17 and 3 yards, the only passes Fischer caught during the game.

The loss ruined the coaching debut of Alleghany's Max Lowe, who moved from Bridgewater College to take the Mounties' job this fall.
