BOTETOURT HANDS LEE RARE LOSS

Sarah Hicks scored 16 of her game-high 26 points in the first half as Lord Botetourt knocked off Robert E. lee-Staunton, the reigning Group AA champion, 58-43 on Saturday night at the Lord Botetourt Invitational in Daleville.

Hicks also went 8-for-8 from the free-throw line as the Cavaliers (3-0) ended a long winning streak by Lee, which went undefeated last season.
