According to publicity from the show, Lester often gets hit on by women customers, including one who answered her door dressed in lingerie.
"Jenny Jones" is broadcast weekdays at 11 a.m. on Fox (Channel 21/27).
Spike Lee has joined Sen. Bob Dole in condemning Hollywood's use of violence - but for a different reason. Lee says the violence isn't real enough.
``In Hollywood, the heroes wear the white hats and the bad guys wear the black ones,'' Lee said at the Venice Film Festival, where he presented ``Clockers.''
Lee said his characters are more realistic.
``My policeman has been on the streets 20 years and knows [the streets] as well as the guys he's fighting. He's not a hero. People aren't all good or all bad. It's not just druggies, pregnant girls. It's not as simple as that,'' he said.
The ``murder mystery to the sound of rap,'' as Lee called it, received an enthusiastic screening. It stars Harvey Keitel and John Turturro as detectives investigating a murder in New York.
