PULASKI COUNTY TEACHER GROUP ENDORSES BAKER

The Pulaski County Education Association announced its endorsement Wednesday for House of Delegates incumbent Tommy Baker.

The Dublin Republican received $500 from the association's Political Action Committee.

Baker is running unopposed for the 7th legislative district which covers Radford, Pulaski County and parts of Giles County.

In his three terms as delegate, Baker served as a member of the Education Committee.

"He has shown time and again that he is willing to hear the concerns of parents and educators and act accordingly," PAC chair Shannon Turner said.

This the second time the association's PAC has recommended Baker - they supported him in his 1993 unopposed campaign.
