In other incidents reported by Roanoke police:

A 20-year-old man sitting outside his Northwest Roanoke residence was robbed at gunpoint by two men in a car early Thursday. No one was injured.

About 3:10 a.m., the man was standing outside an apartment in the 700 block of Hunt Avenue when the men pulled up in a white car and called to him.

One of the men in the car asked him for change for $100. The man went inside his apartment to get change. When the man returned, the passenger in the car was armed with a small handgun and took his money.

The car fled the scene, but hit a guardrail on Liberty Road Northwest. Police said the car has damage to the driver's side. No arrests have been made.

Two teen-age girls reported that three armed and masked men broke into their Northwest Roanoke house about 1 a.m. Thursday. No one was injured.

The three men entered by breaking glass on a basement door. Once inside, they chased the girls to an upstairs bedroom at the Aspen Street home. The men tied up the girls with duct tape, asking where money and drugs could be found.

Before one of the men left, he handed a knife to one of the girls, telling her to free herself and the other girl. The men fled through the same door they entered, taking nothing.
