TOMMY DORSEY ORCHESTRA IN SALEM

The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra will perform Sept. 18 from 7:30-11:30 p.m. at the Salem Civic Center.

Buddy Morrow, a member of Dorsey's original orchestra, will direct the musicians.

Reserved seating is available in the box seat area and at the dance floor at tables for up to eight people.

A cash bar and concessions will offer a variety of party snacks.

The gathering is a benefit for the United Way of Roanoke Valley and is brought to Roanoke in cooperation with radio stations WFIR-AM and WPVR-FM.

Tickets are $15 for general admission, $20 for box seats and $35 for the dance floor area.
