ROWE FURNITURE EARNINGS FALL

Rowe Furniture Corp., Arlington-based manufacturer with operations in Salem, reported net income of $1 million, or 7 cents per share, on sales of $29.5 million for its third quarter ended Aug. 27, compared with year earlier $1.6 million, or 11 cents per share, on sales of $27 million. For the nine months, net income was $5.8 million, or 42 cents per share, on sales of $88.6 million compared with year-earlier $4.6 million, or 32 cents per share, on sales of $80.5 million.
