Gregory Bosen, a senior, worked a Happy Hollow Park building a cedar outhouse and making a trail leading from a bridge handicapped accessible. The bridge was built earlier by another member of his troop. He is the son of Mary and Ralph Bosen.
Travis Cooper, a junior, built a fence and a blind and planted shrubbery around the Garst Mill Park restroom area. He is the son of Vicki and Al Cooper.
Wade Willmont, a junior, and Garrett Christley, a sophomore, worked on wildlife habitat enhancement projects at Happy Hollow Park. They cleared wooded areas, replanted shrubbery, trees and grasses that provide food and cover for wildlife and built benches along a trail.
Willmont is the son of Valerie and Philip Willmont. Christley is the son of Kathy and Jerry Christley.
Cooper and Bosen are members of Explorer Post No. 49. Willmont and Christley are members of Boy Scout Troop No. 49. Both troops are sponsored by the Roanoke II Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Cotton Hill Road.
The four Scouts received their Eagle Scout awards at a ceremony Aug. 9.
