CARROLL TOPS RICHLANDS

Carroll County used a balanced scoring attack to defeat Richlands 63-52 in a non-district girls' high school basketball game on Saturday.

The Cavaliers (6-2) were led by senior forward Jennifer Watkins, who scored 17 points, and senior point guard India Easter, who had eight points and 12 assists.

The Blue Tornadoes (4-2) were led by senior forward Laura Burress, who tallied 19 points.
