Robert and Judy Bryant of Winston-Salem, N. C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristina Lynette, to Michael David Bishop, Jr., son of Mike and Joyce Bishop of Roanoke, Va.
Kristina is a graduate of Virginia Tech and is now attending the College of Health Sciences. David is a graduate of Bluefield State College and is employed by Synchrony Industrial Controls, Inc.

Mr. and Mrs. E. Carl Godsey Jr. of Richmond, formerly of Roanoke, announce the engagement of their daughter, Ann-Elizabeth Godsey, to William Jack Capell Jr. of Boston, son of Mr. William Jack Capell Sr. of Boston and the late Louise M. Capell.
Miss Godsey is the granddaughter of Mrs. Deane DuVall Hicks, and the late Jackson M. Hicks and Elizabeth S. Hicks of Roanoke.
Miss Godsey graduated from El on College, North Carolina, and received her master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University where she has undertaken post graduate studies.
Mr. Capell graduated from Salem State College, Massachusetts, and received his master's degree in Human Nutrition from Framingham State University, Massachusetts. He completed his internship at the Medical College of Virginia. A fall wedding is planned
