2 MEN KILLED AS PICKUP TRUCK OVERTURNS IN CREEK

Two men were killed Saturday night when their pickup truck ran off a rain-slicked road in Patrick County.

Ritchie A. Gilliam of Cana and Tryon K. Nevins of Claudville were pronounced dead at the scene, state police said. Both were 24.

Police said the truck, driven by Gilliam, veered off the right side of Virginia 103 and went through a bridge railing; the vehicle overturned in a creek and caught fire.
