COMEDY CLUB STILL ROLLING 'EM IN AISLES

Anyone looking for laughs at the Roanoke Comedy Club can still find them at the same place on Williamson Road where the nightspot has been for the past five years.

Since a newspaper article Friday about founder and owner Jimmy Butler's plans to sell the building and look for a more suitable location, he has received phone calls from merchants and others proposing and offering new sites, assuming - erroneously - that the club is out of business.

Butler wants people to know the 11-year-old Roanoke Comedy Club is still operating.

``Believe me, when we move, everyone will be the first to know where to find us,'' he said.
