MS town meeting
BLACKSBURG - The Blue Ridge chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society will have a town meeting Tuesday, at 7 p.m. The meeting will be in the dining room of Montgomery County Regional Hospital.
The meeting will feature presentations from staff members of the Blue Ridge chapter and will highlight the mission of the national society, including research and fund raising.

Crafts fair, flea market
RADFORD - Radford High School Band Boosters and choral patrons sponsor a crafts fair and flea market Sept. 30. Proceeds will go to the school's music department.

BLACKSBURG - The Southside Garden Club sponsors a flower show Oct. 4, at the Donaldson Brown Hotel and Conference Center at Virginia Tech. The program will be 1 to 5 p.m.

Registration will continue through Oct. 10. The last day to register and to make address changes in order to be eligible for the November election is Oct. 10. The last day for receiving applications for mail ballots is Nov. 2. Nov. 4 is the last day for in-person absentee voting.
