LORD BOTETOURT TOO BALANCED FOR CRAIG CO.

Sarah Hicks had 20 of her game-high 30 points in the first half and Sara Moore chipped in 23 points as Lord Botetourt routed Craig County 94-18 in a non-district girls' basketball game Wednesday night.

The Cavaliers opened the game with a 26-2 run and cruised from there.

Lord Botetourt scored more than 20 points in every quarter and led 48-7 at halftime. Moore had 14 points in the first two quarters.

The Cavaliers led 69-9 after three quarters.

Eleven players scored for Lord Botetourt (9-0).

Laura Nelson scored 12 points to lead Craig County (0-5), which put only three players in the scoring column.
