NORTH CROSS LOSES 20-6

North Cross fumbled five times and lost four, two inside its own 10-yard line, in a 20-6 high school football loss Saturday to Virginia Episcopal School at Victory Stadium.

The Raiders lost despite Carter Lee's 162 rushing yards on 27 carries.

John Smoot threw three touchdown passes and led VES with 126 all-purpose yards, 96 through the air and 30 on the ground.
