LORD BOTETOURT REMAINS PERFECT

Lord Botetourt increased its record to 10-0 Saturday with a 62-37 non-district girls' basketball victory over Glenvar.

The Cavaliers turned up the defense in the second half to pull away from the Highlanders. Sarah Hicks, the game's leading scorer, led the Cavaliers with 25 points and Sara Moore added 11.

The Highlanders' leading scorer was Erika Hale with 14 points.
