The program starts with a country breakfast at the Christian Church at 7 a.m. Cost of the breakfast is $4.
The community parade will be at 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. there will be a community hymn sing.
The program will also feature historical re-enactments, revolutionary soldiers, Native Indian dancing and hair wrapping, Sons of the Confederate Veterans and scenes from "The Long Way Home" outdoor historical drama.
In addition, there will be demonstrations of mountain crafts, home cooked food, farmer's market, traditional music and dance, children's activities, on-site portrait painting and basket making.
