Steven Danille Taylor, 20, of Spring Street in Pulaski, was arrested Thursday afternoon by Radford officers with assistance from the Blacksburg Police Department, according to a news release.
The arrest occurred on Davis Street without incident, police said.
Taylor is charged with armed robbery, abduction, using a firearm to commit a felony, and assault and battery.
Taylor's arrest is part of an investigation of an armed robbery reported to Blacksburg police at about 2 a.m. Tuesday. A man told police that after three males abducted and robbed him of an undisclosed amount of cash, he was taken to an ATM to take out more money. The man was assaulted, then released several minutes later in Montogmery County.
Taylor was taken to the Montgomery County Jail where he was being held in lieu of $50,000 bond. Arraignment and preliminary hearing dates were not available. Police said an investigation is continuing and other people may face additional charges.
