Junior Amy Heath added 21 points for the Vikings (5-5), who avenged last Tuesday's overtime loss to the Indians (3-7) in Blacksburg.
Northside held a two-point lead after the third quarter, but Blacksburg's April Rogers scored 11 of her 18 points in the fourth period to help force overtime.
Rogers' 3-point goal gave the Indians a three-point lead with less than a minute remaining in regulation. Northside pulled even with four seconds remaining on Heath's inside basket.
Fieldale-Collinsville 63, Tunstall 60: T.J. Hayes and Yvonne Hall each made four free throws in the fourth quarter as the Cavaliers overcame a four-point deficit to beat Tunstall in a Piedmont District game in Collinsville.
Hayes led Fieldale-Collinsville (8-3, 7-1) with 16 points and 16 rebounds. Rayni Cooke had 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Fort Chiswell 79, Giles 72: In Pearisburg, the Pioneers notched their first victory by beating the Spartans in overtime.
Giles (5-3) battled back from nine points behind in the final 2:30 of the fourth quarter to send the game to overtime.
Amber Gunter led Fort Chiswell (1-8) with a game-high 20 points, including five 3-point goals. Kristen Harmon added 18 points and Tosha Smith had 15.
Melissa Cumbee and Keli Ratcliffe each scored a dozen to share team-high honors for the Spartans.
Radford 60, Bland 30 Senior forward Crystal Hubbard made eight of 10 field-goal attempts en route to a 16-point performance as the Bobcats rolled past Bland in a non-district game in Radford.
Hubbard had eight points in the first quarter as the Bobcats (8-3) jumped out to a 20-point lead.
Bland (0-7) was led by Pachess Umbarger, who scored 14 points.
Shawsville 47, Rocky Gap 31 Sarah Hagood scored a game-high 21 points to lead Shawsville past a cold-shooting Rocky Gap team in a non-district game.
Shawsville also got 14 points from freshamn Megan Forster.
The Eagles (0-9) made just two of 26 field-goal attempts in the second half. Amanda Clark and Michelle Sarver had 10 points each. Liwana DeAtley grabbed 10 rebounds for Rocky Gap.
Staunton River 48, William Campbell 40: In Moneta, Staunton River used balanced scoring to win in the Seminole District.
The Golden Eagles (5-4) were led by senior forward Stephanie McCarty, who scored 13 points and grabbed 14 rebounds.
Magna Vista 64, Chatham 51: The Warriors opened up a double-digit lead in the third quarter and never were headed in a Piedmont District game at Ridgeway.
Tanesia Kellam scored 12 of her game-high 25 points in the second quarter for Magna Vista (6-5, 5-3). Sandi Reid scored 17 points, 13 in the second half.
Claudia White led Chatham with 19 points.
Liberty 54, Rustburg 32: In Bedford, Liberty held a 31-9 halftime advantage after converting numerous Rustburg turnovers as the Minnettes (7-2, 7-2) burned the Devils (6-3, 6-3) in Seminole District action.
The Minnettes held the Devils to only one field goal in the first quarter.
Kellea Whorley led Liberty with a game high 17 points and dished out seven assists. Teammate SueLynn Cowlbeck grabbed a dozen rebounds.
Galax 57, Carroll County 55: In Hillsville, Carroll County missed two free throws with 10 seconds remaining and a 3-pointer with three seconds in its loss to Galax.
Senior center Tammy Cox led the Maroon Tide (10-0) with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Sophomore Erin Kyle added 14 points.
India Easter led the Cavaliers with 11 points, six steals and five assists. Angie Farmer added 10 points and eight rebounds.
Bath County 46, Covington 39: The Chargers took advantage of key turnovers by the Cougars in their Pioneer District victory in Covington.
Melanie Woods led the Chargers (3-6, 1-2) with 12 points.
Covington (4-5, 1-2) was led by Joann Helton with a game-high 19 points. Michelle Jeter added 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Bassett 60, Laurel Park 55: The Bengals used a strong third quarter to beat Laurel Park in a Pioneer District contest in Martinsville.
Freshman Heather Miller scored a game-high 31 points for Bassett, 13 in the third period. Linetta Johnson added 15 points.
Tiffany Lynch had 18 for the Lancers (4-6, 4-4) and Toy Perkins chipped in 14 points.
Narrows 55, Auburn 49: In Riner, Narrows got hot from the free-throw line when it counted and held on to beat Auburn in a non-district game.
Suzanne Webb (8-0) led Narrows with 22 points.
Crystal Moles paced the Eagles (5-5) with 18 points, 12 rebounds, five blocks and four assists.
George Wythe 69, Chilhowie 65 Megan Johnson scored 19 points and Tabitha Cook added 17 as George Wythe blew a 14-point lead but held on for a Hogoheegee District victory.
Cook grabbed eight rebounds and had five steals for the Maroons (6-3, 4-3).
Chilhowie was led by Kristy Poe, who scored a game-high 25 points, including five 3-pointers.
Martinsville 71, Patrick County 51 Tresita Holland scored 12 of her game-high 23 points in the fourth quarter as Martinsville broke open a close game and went on to a 20-point, Piedmont District victory in Martinsville.
The Bulldogs (8-3, 6-2) led by only seven after three quarters before Holland and Keshia Mitchell led the fourth-quarter charge.
