TAKE A WALK SUNDAY; HELP WISH COME TRUE

The first Roanoke Valley Make-A-Wish Walkathon will be held Sunday at Salem's Green Hill Park.

All money raised will go to the nonprofit foundation, which is staffed entirely by volunteers who work to grant the wishes of terminally or chronically ill children.

Registration for the walk is 1 p.m.; the walkathon begins at 2.
