WIN OUR CONTEST, WIN A PARTY

Hey party animals, you still have plenty of time to enter NewsFun's annual Halloween art contest. Midnight, Oct. 22 is the deadline, so you've got three weeks to come up with an original, color drawing of a Halloween party.

Use plain white paper, and make sure the idea is your own.

The entries, which will be judged on originality and form, will be divided into age groups: kindergarten-first grade; second-third grade; fourth-fifth grade; and sixth-eighth grade.

NewsFun will throw a party for the the winner in each age group. Plus, the winning drawings will be published in the Oct. 30 edition of NewsFun.

Here's what to do:

Submit a color drawing of a Halloween party on plain white paper.

Include your name, grade, school, school telephone number, home telephone number and address on the back of your entry.

Mail your entry to NewsFun's Halloween Art Contest, The Roanoke Times, P.O. Box 2491, Roanoke, Va. 24010-2491.

All entries must be received by midnight, Oct. 22. Only one entry per person.
