Tour takes look at railroad sites in Roanoke
The Appalachian Railroad Heritage Partnership will hold the first Roanoke Railroad Heritage Tour on Oct. 7 from 10-11 a.m. Sites interpreted include the Norfolk & Western freight station, the Hotel Roanoke and others. The tour will not enter any of the sites. Tickets are $5. Reservations are recommended. Call 342-5670.
