All but nine of the 44 people injured in the 10 a.m. accident were released after first-aid treatment. The rest were taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
A hospital nurse contacted at midnight Edinburgh time Saturday said two victims were being kept overnight for observation, but the rest had been released.
The Virginia tourists, most over the age of 55, belong to a senior citizens' group named Crewe Young at Heart, but a police report sent to Reuters News Service did not include an address.
Police said none of the victims listed Roanoke area addresses, and all family members in the United States have been notified.
Police Superintendent Jim Pryde said the passengers were fortunate to escape with only cuts and bruises from the wreck of the bus.
