Anderson-Shail

Michelle Ann Anderson and Scott Andrew Shail are engaged and planning to be married June 8, 1996 in Salem Presbyterian Church, Salem, Va. Michelle is the daughter of David C. Anderson and Brenda W. Anderson of Roanoke, Va. She graduated from Salem High School and Appalachian State University, Boone, N.C.

Scott is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael J. Shail of Raleigh, N.C. He graduated from Millbrook High School, Raleigh, N.C. and Appalachian State University, Boone, N.C. Scott and Michelle will reside in Raleigh, N.C.

Beatty-Robinson

Julia Marie Beatty and Dwayne Lee Robinson are engaged and planning to be married in the summer of 1996 in Salem. Julia is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew J. Cepulo of Salem. She received a bachelor's degree from Radford University and will receive her master's degree in May 1996. Dwayne is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Robinson of Salem. He graduated from Glenvar High School and from Radford University. He is employed by Enterprise Rent-a-Car.

Brammer-Bowles

Brammer-Donoho

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Brammer are proud to announce the engagement of their daughters, Melissa Brammer to Paul Bowles, and Kimberly Brammer to Scott Donoho. Mr. Bowles is the son of Marilyn Bowles and the late Louis Bowles. Mr. Donoho is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Donoho. Melissa is employed by Ropho Sales in Salem and Paul is employed by the Salem Civic Center. A September 1996 wedding is planned for Melissa and Paul. Kimberly is employed as a nurse at the VVCC of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Salem High School and the Salem School of Nursing. Scott is employed by Richardson-Wayland Electrical Corp. He is a graduate of Glenvar High School. A December 1996 wedding is planned for Kimberly and Scott.

Campbell-Divers

Mr. and Mrs. Calvin R. Campbell of Buchanan have announced the engagement of their daughter, Stacy Rae, to Timothy D. Divers, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Divers of Troutville.

Miss Campbell attends East Carolina University School of Nursing. Mr. Divers attends Virginia Tech's School of Business.

The wedding is planned for December 30 at Mill Creek Baptist Church.

Duncan-Baker

Ms. Julia H. Duncan of Christiansburg, Va., and Mr. Robert G. Duncan of Radford, Va., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sharon Sue Duncan to Bruce Wayne Baker, son of Ms. Doris L. Baker of Blacksburg, Va.

She is a 1990 graduate of Virginia Western Community College with a degree in Radiography and is employed by Wytheville Community Hospital. He is employed by an Industrial Firm of Wytheville, Va. A New Years Eve wedding is planned.

Gay-Henderson

Teresa Lynn Gay and William Gregory Henderson are engaged and planning to be married on November 18, 1995, in Vinton. Teresa is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George M. Gay of Goodview. She graduated from Staunton River High School and from Virginia Western Community College. She is employed by Automated Mailing Systems, Inc. William is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Fizer of Vinton. He graduated from William Byrd High School and from Ferrum College. He is employed by Advance Auto Distribution Center.

Gerhold-Isley

Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Gerhold of Salem are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Cassandra, to Tray Isley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd A. Isley, Jr., also of Salem. Cassandra and Tray are both graduates of Salem High School and Virginia Tech University. A May 25, 1996, wedding date has been set.

Mrs. Barbara S. Linkous is pleased to announce the wedding date of her daughter, Karri Delnise Linkous, and the daughter of the late Delma D. Linkous, to Michael Cridlin, son of Clyde and Linda Cridlin, all of Christiansburg, Virginia. An evening wedding will take place at 5:00 p.m., October 28, 1995 at Trinity Baptist Church, North Franklin Street, Christiansburg, Va. Karri attended New River Community College and is employed by the First National Bank. Michael is employed by the New River Casting Corp. and will graduate in the spring from New River Community College.

Moore-Casella

Mr. and Mrs. John W. Moore of Roanoke announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Lynne, to Brian Joseph Casella, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond J. Casella of Midlothian.

Miss Moore is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and Virginia Tech. She is employed by First Union.

Mr. Casella is a graduate of Clover Hill High School and will be a fall graduate of Virginia Tech. He will be employed by Phillip Morris.

A December 16, 1995, wedding is planned.

Motley-Light

Mrs. Dale Castiglione of Danville and Mr. Lyle C. Motley, Jr. of Delray Beach, Fla. announce the engagement of their daughter, Shearin Elizabeth, to John Page Light, son of The Rt. Rev. and Mrs. Arthur Heath Light.

The bride-elect is a graduate of George Washington High School. She received a bachelor of arts degree and a Master of Science degree from James Madison University. She is employed as a speech pathologist by Danville Regional Medical Center.

The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of The Christ Church School. He received a bachelor of arts degree from Richmond College and a Juris Doctor from the T.C. Williams School of Law. He is a partner in the law firm of Williams, Stilwell, Morrison, Williams and Light.

The wedding will be held on December 30 at First Presbyterian Church, Danville, Va.

Strutt-Brooks

Michelle Strutt and Bryan Brooks are engaged to be married this fall. Michelle is a daughter of Gale, and the late Clyde Strutt, of Roanoke. She graduated from Northside High School and the University of Tennessee, and is employed as an athletic trainer. Bryan is a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Brooks of Roanoke. He graduated from Cave Spring High School and VMI, and is employed as a civil engineer.

Thomas-Richardson

Vikki Lynn Thomas and David Wayne Richardson are engaged and planning to be married on October 19, 1996, in Christiansburg. Vikki is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marshal Thomas of Christiansburg. She graduated from Christiansburg High School and is a senior at Radford University. She is employed by Credit Bureau Services. David is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Richardson of Christiansburg. He graduated from Christiansburg High School and is employed by Donnkenny.

Vance-Harless

Kristie Elizabeth Vance and David Scott Harless are engaged and planning to be married on November 25, 1995 in Radford. She is a daughter of Mr. Pete Vance of Richlands and Mrs. Charlotte Edwards of Glen Allen. She is a graduate of Richlands High School and Radford University.

He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Emory David Harless of Radford. He is a graduate of Radford High School and Roanoke College.

White-Phillips

Donna Sue White and Michael Patrick Phillips are happy to announce their engagement. Donna is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald E. White of Roanoke. She was a graduate of Patrick Henry High School. Michael is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Phillips of Smith Mountain Lake. He was a graduate of Roanoke Catholic High School, and received his BBA in Marketing from Roanoke College, and his MBA in Finance from East Carolina University. A November wedding is planned.
