BLACKSBURG COMPREHENSIVE PLAN MEETINGS SET FOR OCT. 16, OCT. 19

The town's Planning and Engineering Department is holding two meetings for the 1996 Comprehensive Plan: Monday, Oct. 16, and Wednesday, Oct. 19, 7-9 p.m. Monday night topics are natural environment, community appearance, urban design, transportation, parks, recreation, open space, greenways and information technology. The topics for the Thursday night meeting are housing and neighborhoods, public safety, economic development, community facilities and utility service.
