MONTGOMERY BOARD CANDIDATE FORUM

The seven candidates for four seats on the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors will appear tonight at a candidates' forum.

The Montgomery County League of Women Voters and three other civic organizations are sponsoring the event, which runs from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. on the second floor of the Montgomery County Courthouse in downtown Christiansburg. The forum will be open to the public.

The board candidates, in alphabetical order by district, include:

Challenger Robert Goncz and incumbent Nick Rush in District B.

Challenger Richard Gordon and incumbent Ira Long in District E.

Unopposed candidate Mary Biggs in District F.

Challenger Curtis Cox and incumbent Joe Gorman in District G.
