The Rockets (1-10 overall, 1-5 district) jumped out to an eight-point first-quarter lead and avenged an earlier loss to Highland.
Bonnie Boardwine led Craig County with 17 points. Laura Nelson chipped in 13 and Sommer Horn added 11.
Highland (1-8, 1-5) was led by Tammy Shiflett's 23-point, 12-rebound effort. Amy Neil poured in 17 for the Rams.
Glenvar 62, Covington 41: Erica Hale gunned in 27 points and the Highlanders took control early in a Pioneer District victory in Covington.
Hale, a forward, had 16 points by halftime as Glenvar (8-6, 6-0) forged a 35-15 lead.
Joann Helton led Covington (4-9, 1-4) with a team-high 19 points.
Northside 56, Alleghany 45: Crystal Barrett scored 14 of her game-high 23 points in the second half as Northside held off Alleghany in a Blue Ridge District game at Northside High School.
Alleghany took an early one-point lead behind Melissa Page, who scored six of her 12 points in the first quarter. But Northside (8-7, 2-2) took a five-point lead at halftime behind Amber Kern, who scored six of her nine in the second quarter. Barrett, who grabbed 15 rebounds, then took over in the second half
Katie Craft led Alleghany with 16 points.
Salem 64, Rockbridge County 36 Shellie Johnson scored 14 points to lead Salem past Rockbridge County in a Blue Ridge District contest in Lexington.
Johnson scored eight points in the third quarter as Salem outscored the Wildcats 21-3 in the period.
Sarah Palmer added 10 points for the Spartans.
Natalie Wallace led the Wildcats (2-10, 0-4) with eight points.
