Blankenship-Carpenter

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry L. Blankenship of Narrows, Virginia, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Ann Blankenship, to William Cave Carpenter IV, son of Mr. and Mrs. William C. C arpenter III of Blacksburg, Virginia.

Miss Blankenship is a 1994 alumnus of Narrows High School and a 1995 graduate of the Practical Nursing Program at Giles County Technology Center in Pearisburg, Va. She is currently an employee of Montgomery Regional Hospital in Blacksburg, Va., as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

The groom-to-be graduated from Blacksburg High School in 1992 and attended Radford University. Mr. Carpenter is currently pursing a degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant at Roanoke College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, Virginia, while work full-time for Therapy Management Systems as a Physical Therapy Technician at Montgomery Regional Hospital in Blacksburg.

An autumn wedding is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 1995, at the Cornerstone Pentecostal Holiness Church in Narrows, Va.

\ Dudley-Morris

Barry and Teresa Dudley of Vinton are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Cindy Leigh Dudley, to H. N. Jason Todd Morris. He is the son of Larry and Carol Mattox also of Vinton.

Miss Dudley is a 1992 graduate of William Byrd High School. She is currently employed by the Kroger Co.

Mr. Morris is a 1989 graduate of William Byrd High School and a 1993 graduate of Radford University. He is currently serving in the United States Navy.

An April 6, 1996, wedding is being planned.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward King Jr. of Roanoke are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Anne King of Fredericksburg, Va., to Joseph Francis Lynch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lynch of Clifton, Va. An October 1996 wedding is planned.

Mr. and Mrs. Ronald P. Lindsay of Roanoke proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Ann, to Mr. Eric Karl Layman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Layman, Jr., of Fincastle, Va., and Mrs. Judith S. Layman of Roanoke, Va. The wedding will take place in the town of Fincastle in December 1995.

Mrs. Gloria Williams Hurt of Hardy and Ronald R. Williams of Vinton, Va., proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Maria G. Williams to Jeffery ``Jeff'' A. Terry. Jeff is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Terry of Roanoke. A May wedding is planned.
