LECTURE LOOKS AT EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY

Virginia Tech's College of Arts and Sciences will offer a look at new approaches in educational technology in its annual Dean's Lecture Series today.

Ken Hannsgen and Terri Bourdon of mathematics, James Sochinski of music, Mary Beth Oliver of communication studies and Margaret Downs-Gamble of English will provide insight into the way they use multimedia technology in the classroom and its effects on students learning and professor work load.

A question-and-answer period will follow.

The lecture series was initiated in 1989. Each year, a faculty member or members are selected by a committee and the dean to present a public lecture on a topic of general interest.

The series is open to the public at no charge. For more information, call 231-5421.
