The Virginia team has a three-day total of 424 , and leads second-place Florida by nine strokes. The team from Mississippi is third at 434 with the Tennessee team fourth at 435.
Partridge, of Richmond, led the third round surge by firing a 2-under par 70. Partridge also shot a 70 in the second round of the tournament after shooting a dismal 77 in the first round.
Decker, of Fieldale, shot a third round 71, following his earlier rounds of 71 and 73. Galax's McKnight finished with a final round 72 to follow his first two rounds of 70 and 72. The two lowest scores count toward the team total.
In women's play, Hollins College graduate Carol Semple Thompson shot a 71 and had a three-round total of 220 to help Pennsylvania take a one-stroke lead over second-place Texas.

Matt Kiss scored what proved to be the game-winning goal at the 65-minute mark to lift Monmouth to a 4-3 non-conference win over Virginia Tech in men's soccer in West Long Branch, N.J.
Monmouth (7-9) took a 2-0 lead on goals by Jo Greezek and John Mustica before the Hokies (8-9-2) scored on a goal by Chris Chladek. The Hawks added another goal before Chladek scored again to cut the lead to 3-2. Kiss added the winning goal and Tech's Stanislav Licul scored the final goal of the game.
Coastal Carolina's Neil Payne scored in overtime to lift the Chanticleers to a 2-1 Big South Conference men's soccer match at Conway, S.C. Radford (11-4-3, 4-2-1) led 1-0 on Ian Spooner's first-half goal, but Coastal (14-4-0, 5-2-0) tied it on Ryan Walker's goal.
Beth Kirby scored with 23:14 elapsed in the first half to give Randolph-Macon a 1-0 victory over Roanoke in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference championship game in Ashland. The Yellow Jackets improved to 19-0-1, while the Maroons finished at 14-6.
Charleston Southern's Wendy Ennis scored on a penalty kick at 81:09 to lift the Buccaneers past Radford 2-1 in women's soccer at the Highlander campus.
Radford (4-12-1, 1-3) took the early lead on a goal by Jill McFarlane at the 5:53 mark of the first half. Charleston Southern's (7-8, 2-2) tied it on a Mary Pipilas goal 1:55 into the second half.
Five different George Washington players scored as the Colonials routed Virginia Tech 5-1 in an Atlantic 10 women's soccer game in Washington, D.C.
Sophomore goalkeeper Hope Handley added four more saves to her Atlantic 10 record of 167. The Hokies' (2-12-3, 0-3-1) only score came from defender Cindy Zier, who scored at the 59:17 mark.
Radford junior Danielle Iorio's all-conference performance led the Highlander women's cross country team to a fourth-place finish in the Big South Championship in Rock Hill, S.C.
Iorio completed the 5,000-meter course in 19:53.3 to finish tenth. Freshman Jennifer Henchion was 13th, while Christiansburg native Meredith Ritter was 29th. The fourth-place finish was Radford's best showing since it claimed the title in 1990.
The Highlander men's squad finished eighth.
Coastal Carolina and UNC-Asheville tied for the women's title with 38 points, and Coastal Carolina won the men's title with 33.
Roanoke native John Hawthorne placed second individually to lead Virginia Tech's men's cross country team to a second place finish in the Atlantic 10 championship at Schenley Park in Pittsburgh.
Massachusetts took both the men's and women's titles. The Hokie men had 60 points and the women's team was fourth with 118 points.
Hawthorne, a Cave Spring High School alumnus, ran the five-mile course in 25:30.29. He has been the Hokies' top finisher in all five meets in 1995.
Andrew Hudick won the men's open division of the 67th Annual YMCA National Handball Tournament held in Nashville, Tenn.
Hudick defeated Mark Faulk of Dallas, Texas, in the finals 21-20, 7-21, 11-4.
The Vinton Raiders defeated the Botetourt Knights 56-0 in the first round of the Sandlot Super Bowl junior (11-13) division playoffs. In other action, the Cave Spring Lions downed the North Roanoke Panthers 14-0; the North Roanoke Broncos beat the Botetourt Cavaliers 22-8; and the Cave Spring Knights shut out the Botetourt Giants 30-0.
The Carter Aquatic Center Marlins competed in the Halloween Moondog Invitational in Greenville, N.C., at the Minges Natatorium on the campus of East Carolina University.
In the Senior Development division, Zach Cromer finished first in the 100-meter butterfly with a time of 2:22.86 and third in the 100 breast stroke. Jonas Baranauskas finished first in the 100 breast stroke with a time of 1:13.46. Alex Seamon finished second in the 200 individual medley and the 100 butterfly.
In the Senior Circuit, Steve Cromer finished first in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:48.76, first in the 1000 freestyle (10:09.66) and second in the 200 individual medley. Mandy Lippitt finished second in the 200 butterfly. The girls' 400 medley relay team of Laura Dichtel, Blair Huffman, Lippitt and Emily Wichard finished third.
