Luckett ran 28 times for 122 yards and all four Cougar touchdowns.

Three Fighting Blues offensive linemen, Elgin Davis, Jeremy Garrett and Eric Mason went down with injuries in the game. Nevertheless, running back Nathan Floyd was able to run for 138 yards on 18 carries. D.J. Douglas put Parry McCluer on the scoreboard first with a 30-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.
