INDIANS EDGE RICHLANDS

Blacksburg knocked off Richlands in a defensive struggle 10-7 on Saturday in a non-district football game.

Richlands took the opening kickoff down the field in a seven-minute drive to score.

Blacksburg got a 29-yard field goal late in the second quarter from Ben Pinkerton to cut the Richlands lead to 7-3.

The Indians scored again with 8:10 left in the fourth quarter on Tucker LaForce's 20-yard run to seal the victory.
