TOWN SCHEDULES LEAF COLLECTION|

The town will collect leaves in the southeast quadrant Tuesday, Nov. 7.

Pile or bag leaves and place them by the curb for pickup by the first day of collection in each quadrant.

Leaves will be collected in the northeast quadrant Tuesday, Nov. 14, and in the northwest quadrant Tuesday, Nov. 21. Each quadrant will be visited twice. On Thursday, Nov. 30, town crews will begin to revisit quadrants where leaves have continued to fall.

Residents may call 961-1142 to have bagged leaves collected within two days. Leaves required for compost are delivered free to residents within five miles of Blacksburg.
