BOAR'S HEAD FEASTE, an annual program of dinner and music for Advent based on old English festivities, will be held Nov. 30, Dec. 1 and 2 at the First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall. Admission is $15 , and tickets are available by sending a check made out to Feaste to: P.O. Box 8538, Roanoke, 24014, before Wednesday.

AT VALLEY WORD MINISTRIES, 1928 Loch Haven Drive, a concert featuring David and the Giants, a Christian rock band, and the Holywind ensemble is scheduled Friday at 7 p.m. Admission is $5 at the doors, which open at 6 p.m.
JERRY and CAROL BRECHEISEN, musicians and evangelists from Indianapolis, Ind., will visit First Wesleyan Church Sunday for a program at 6 p.m. The church is at 3706 Peters Creek Road.
CAMP BETHEL HERITAGE DAY, an annual observance supported by Churches of the Brethren throughout the Virlina District, attracted more than 2,000 people earlier this month. The crafts, music, food and Third World products sale brought in more than $20,000 to support the camping ministry of the Botetourt County conference center.
THE CATHOLIC HISTORICAL SOCIETY will have an open house and a sale of religious articles for the Advent and Christmas seasons at its museum at 624 N. Jefferson St. The activities will be Nov. 12 and Dec. 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The museum also is open Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. until Dec. 13 when it will be closed through Jan. 1.
THE PASTORAL CARE DEPARTMENTS of Roanoke Memorial and Community hospitals have scheduled an additional photo sitting for Roanoke Valley pastors who wish to be included in a pictorial directory. Participants may call 981-7411 for an appointment on Nov. 10 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Roanoke Memorial.
THE TABERNACLE, a presentation of River of Life Bible College, is scheduled Friday from 7 to 10 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Maranatha Fellowship Church, 2715 Green Ridge Road. The Rev. Roger Griffith of Salem and the Rev. Mike Marschean of New York pastor, will lead the presentation.
THE REV. JAMES GEORGE, formerly of Laurel Hill Baptist Church in Verona, has begun as pastor of Mill Creek Baptist Church in Botetourt County.
AT NORTH VALLEY ADVENTIST CHURCH, the vice president for finance of the Potomac Conference of Seventh-day Adventists based in Washington, Elder Marvin Griffin, will preach Saturday at 11 a.m. The Adventists worship at 4909 Peters Creek Road. A luncheon will follow the service.
YOUTH REVIVAL SERVICES will be held Saturday and Sunday at Oakland Baptist Church, 3623 Roundhill Ave. N.W. Wade Morris, will speak , and Jason Wallis, will be the song leader, for the worship from 7 to 9 p.m. Call 366-5861 for more information.
"BACK AT THE CREEK BANK," a music and drama show, will be presented Sunday at 6:30 p.m. at Colonial Baptist Church, 106 Hillcrest St. in Blue Ridge. It will feature youth and children of the church.
"THE GOSPEL TRAIN,", a play by members of Chestnut Grove Church and the Spiritual Seven, is scheduled Saturday at 7 p.m. at St. Gerard's Catholic Church, 809 Orange Ave. N.W. A $5 donation is requested.
AT HOLLINS COLLEGE, the Sunday night service will feature the Rev. Johan Kijne. He is coordinator of the European Chaplains Conference in Copenhagen, Denmark. The service in du Pont Chapel at 7:30 is open to the community.
VIRGINIA HEIGHTS BAPTIST CHURCH has chosen Kevin Lamb, a recent graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, as its new organist and minister of music. He begins his work Sunday. He and his wife, Holly, are Tennesseans by background. He took undergraduate study at Carson-Newman College and has been on the staff of a Grand Prairie, Texas church.
THE HELPING HANDS CLUB of Jerusalem Baptist Church has scheduled a guest drama team from Washington Street Baptist Church in Bedford on Nov. 11 at 6 p.m. Led by Beulah Payne, the players will present "Flight 360" at the church at 1014 Norfolk Ave. S.W.
ST. MARKS UNITED METHODIST CHURCH of Daleville will hold revival services Sunday through Wednesday nightly at 7:30. Ray Tucker of Selma will speak. Music will be provided by Ed Crawford, a Southern gospel singer.
