Police gave this account: At about 3:40 p.m., a man and woman arrived at the home of Donna Loretta Daye, 21, of Downing Street. Daye told police she knew the woman only by a nickname, which police would not release.
The woman asked Daye if a certain man was in the house.
The woman then asked to enter the house. Daye let in the woman and the man who accompanied her. He wore a mask and rubber gloves. Once inside, the masked man brandished a revolver, demanded money and threatened to shoot Daye and the children. The man took $130 and the couple fled.
Police had made no arrests as of Tuesday.
