ARAB-ISRAELI PEACE PROSPECT TO BE DISCUSSED

William B. Quandt, who was actively involved in the negotiations leading to the Camp David Accords and the Egyptian-Israeli Peace Treaty, will discuss the prospects for an Arab-Israeli peace in Virginia Tech's Second Global Issues Forum on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in Colonial Hall, Squires Student Center.

Quandt was a staff member on the National Security Council during negotiations for the Middle East peace initiatives. He joined the University of Virginia faculty a year ago after working as a senior fellow in the Foreign Policy Studies Program at the Brookings Institution.
