Beadles-Stewart

Jennifer Marie Stewart and Barry Dean Beadles were married September 16, 1995 in Jennings Creek Gospel Chu rch. Pastor Chester Carter was the officiating clergyman. The reception was held at Lauderdale Community House.

Jamie Arrington, friend, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Kellie Stewart, sister of the bride; Brigitte Moore, Melissa Reid and Candice Stinnett, cousins. The flowergirl was Mallory Clark, niece. Richard Beadles served as his son's best man. The ushers were Robert A. Stewart, Jr., brother of the bride; James Miller, Willie Smith and Donnie Barger, friends. The ringbearer was Wade Stewart, nephew. Andy Beadles was the guestbook attendant.

The bride's gown was white satin with lace and pearls. She carried a cascading bouquet of roses, baby's breath and pearls.

The bride is the daughter Robert and Bonnie Stewart of Buchanan, Va. She is a graduate of James River High School and is employed by Vitramon.

The groom is the son of Richard and Betty Beadles of Eagle Rock, Va. He is a graduate of James River High School and is employed by Norfolk/Southern.

The newlyweds reside in Roanoke after their wedding trip to Tennessee.

Carpenter-Blankenship

The marriage of Julie Anne Blankenship, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry L. Blankenship of Narrows, Virginia, to William Cave Carpenter IV, son of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Carpenter III of Blacksburg, Virginia, took place November 11, 1995, at the Cornerstone Pentecostal Holiness Church in Narrows, Virginia. Pastor Kimball Jones officiated the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Jones and Mrs. Pearl Blankenship, all of Narrows, Virginia. The groom is the grandson of Mrs. Emily K. Carpenter of Charlottesville, Virginia, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter G. Andrews, Jr., of Galax, Virginia.

Mrs. Lisa Albert, sister of the bride of Narrows, was matron of honor, while Miss Misty Bowles, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Miss Lauren Albert, the bride's niece, also of Narrows, was flower girl.

Mr. William C. Carpenter III was his son's best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Eric Bateman and Mr. Andrew McMillan, both friends of the groom and each are from Radford, Virginia. Mr. Christopher Reynolds, special friend of the bride, was the ring bearer.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father and given in marriage by her parents. She wore an elegant gown of white satin with a Queen Anne neckline and a bodice heavily beaded in white seed pearls. The long sleek sleeves were also accented in pearls. The front of the dress featured an open window pane accented with sequins and seed pearls. The back of the dress featured a chapel train. Her head dress was adorned in white baby seed pearls and flowed to waist length. She carried a cascading bouquet of real flowers consisting of deep garnet roses, star gazer lilies and stephanotis.

The bridesmaid dresses were of a rich garnet color of iridescent taffeta material featuring a V-neckline and popcorn style sleeves. They carried bouquets of seasonal flowers which complimented the bride's bouquet. The groom and his attendants wore black formal waist length tuxedos with pearl studded tie and accessories and garnet rose boutonnieres.

Wedding music was provided by Debbie Huffman, pianist, with solos by Miss Dari Cupp and Mr. John Stafford. The guest book was attended by Miss Crystal Miller and the wedding was directed by Mrs. Dianne Gautier. Wedding photography by Jim Carpenter, owner of Gitchell's Studio of Charlottesville, Va. A reception at Giles Country Club followed the ceremony. Music was provided by Mac Brown. Following a honeymoon trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple will reside at Claytor Lake.

Clark-Donivan

Laura Colleen Donivan and Michael Boyd Clark were married June 24, 1995, in Virginia Tech War Memorial Chapel with Dr. Edd Sewell officiating. The reception was held at Blacksburg Community Center. The maid of honor was Heather Bryan, friend of bride. Bridesmaids were Diane Esker, friend of bride, Erin Donivan, sister of bride, and Sharon Smoot, friend of bride. Dan Farrar, friend of g room, served as best man. Groomsmen were Scott Bailey and Bob Brightup, friends of groom, and Jon Clark, brother of groom. The bride wore her mother's gown which she wore in 1966. The bride is the daughter of Frank and Margaret Donivan of Oakton, Va. She is a graduate of Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Va. The groom is the son of Randy and Judy Willard of Newport News, Va., and Robert Clark, St. Louis, Mo. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Va. The newlyweds will live in Blacksburg

Edmonds-Feinour

Pamela Susan Feinour and Franklin Spicer Edmonds, Jr., were married Saturday, November 11, 1995, at seven o'clock in Second Presbyterian Church with Dr. William Rupert Klein officiating. The reception was held at Roanoke Country Club.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Robert Feinour of Roanoke, Virginia. She is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School in Roanoke, Virginia, the University of Virginia, and received her Masters in Mass Communications from Grady College of Journalism at the University of Georgia. She is a publishing consultant with Walsworth Publishing Company.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Spicer Edmonds of Franklin, Virginia. He is a graduate of the Woodberry Forest School, the University of Virginia, and is currently attending the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration and the University of Virginia School of Law.

Martha Lee Feinour of Roanoke, Virginia, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Marguerite Parke Avery and Phebe Alexandra Vest of New York, New York, Elizabeth Lawler Betts of Arlington, Virginia, Meredith Smith Draper of Baltimore, Maryland, Kiley Anne Norris of Birmingham, Michigan, Susan Withers Smith of Macon, Georgia, Beverly Ball Thagard of Birmingham, Alabama, Katherine Fralin Walker of Roanoke, Virginia, Elizabeth McDaniel Wallace of Richmond, Virginia, and Jennifer Smith Wunderlich of Memphis, Tennessee.

John Rice Edmonds of New York, New York, brother of the groom, was best man. Foster-Craghead

Joan Linette Craghead and Kip Douglas Foster were united in marriage Saturday, July 29, 1995 at 10 o'clock in the morning at First Baptist Church in Richmond, Va. Dr. Peter James Flamming, senior minister, officiated.

Melissa M. Baker of Midlothian, was matron of honor. Flower girl was Kendall Baker. Ringbearers were Jerry and Jeremy Craghead of Roanoke, nephews of the bride. The groom's brother, Dr. James E. Foster, II, of Salem, was best man. Ushers were Maurice King and Greg Anderson, both of Roanoke. Junior usher was Kyle Baker. Guest book attendant was Suzanne Foster, and program attendants were Amanda and Betsy Foster, all nieces of the groom, of Salem.

A wedding brunch followed at The Blair House. The couple honeymooned in Bar Harbor, Maine, and live in Hardy, Va.

The bride is the daughter of Dorothy King and Bobby Craghead, and granddaughter of Helen Craghead, all of Covington, Va. She is a graduate of Virginia Tech and was employed by Heilig-Meyers Company in Richmond for the past thirteen years. The groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Foster of Johnstown, Pa., graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and continued his education at Virginia Tech. He is currently employed by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality.

Gallien-Worley

Bethany Jean Worley and Glenn Sinclair Gallien III were married Saturday, October 14 at the John L. Hurt Jr. Memorial Garden in Hurt, Virginia.

Ms. Nancy Schmidt performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Bobby and Shirley Worley of Ferrum. She is the granddaughter of Fred and Antholene Mullins of Rocky Mount, and Elsie Worley of Roanoke, and the late Wilbur Worley of Ferrum.

The bridegroom is the son of Glenn and Jobelle Gallien of Memphis, Tennessee.

The bride graduated from Franklin County High School in 1985. She received a B.A. from Emory and Henry College and a M.S. from the University of Memphis.

The bridegroom graduated from Central High School in Memphis, Tenn. in 1984. He received a B.A. from the University of Memphis and a M.S. from the University of Memphis. Glenn is employed as the Human Services Planner for the ``Fighting Back'' project in Charlotte, N.C.

Giesen-George

The marriage of Robin Kay George, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William George of Roanoke, to David Robert Giesen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Giesen of Flagler Beach, Florida, took place November 11, 1995, at Cave Spring Baptist Church. The Reverend Richard Elmore officiated. Dona George Lawson was her sister's matron of honor. William Blount was best man. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Giesen, Geri Waites Johnson, Kelli Martin and Marlena Willis. Ushers were Peyton Bonner Jeffrey George, Douglas Giesen, Edward Hopper and K. David Johnson. Nicole Kristin Milko and Brian Robert Gracely were united in marriage Saturday, November 4, 1995 at Saint Andrew's Catholic Church. The ceremony was officiated by Father Randy Rule. The reception was held at The Water's Edge Country Club at Smith Mountain Lake.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl N. Milko of Roanoke, Va. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Milko of Daleville, Va., and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer T. Ebersol of Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert R. Gracely of Beverly Hills, Michigan, and the grandson of Mrs. Margaret Gracely of Marion, Ohio.

Susan Milko served as her sister's maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Kristin Brooks of Roanoke, and Alice Peschl of Winston-Salem, N.C., friends of the bride. Kaitlin Ebersol, the bride's cousin of West Chester, Pennsylvania, was the flowergirl.

The best man was Jonathan Leiman of Troy, Michigan, friend of the groom. The groomsmen were Kevin Gracely of Beverly Hills, Michigan, brother of the groom, and John Milko of Roanoke, brother of the bride.

After their wedding trip to the Cayman Islands, the newlyweds will reside in Atlanta, Ga., where the groom is employed by Bay Networks.

Hinchee-Pittman

Rebecca Karen Pittman and Jeffrey Cole Hinchee were married October 7, 1995 in Highland United Methodist Church. The officiating clergyman was Rev. Matt Bates. The reception was held at the Family Enrichment Center of Highland United Methodist.

The maid of honor was Ms. Leslie Pittman, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Ms. Legina Kiziah, Ms. Linda Malachowski, Ms. Susan Nicolson, and Ms. Kristi Pernell, all friends. Flowergirls were Miss Lauren Hinchee and Miss Courtney Hinchee, nieces of the bridegroom.

The best man was Mr. Bill Hinchee, father of the groom. The ushers were Mr. David Hinchee, brother of the groom, Mr. Bryan Pittman, brother of the bride, Mr. Anthony Pittman, brother of the bride, Mr. Mike Dupuis, Mr. Jeff Oginz, and Mr. Mark Thornhill, all friends of the groom. The guestbook was attended by Ms. Gail Davis.

The bride wore a long full gown of natural silk with a sweetheart off the shoulder neckline edged in pearls, long fitted sleeves, and a basque waist. The bodice was adorned with designs of alencon bridal lace, seed pearls, and sequins. The gown had a detachable cathedral length train. The matching headpiece was a fingertip veil of diamond illusion held by a tiara of pearls and crystals accented in the back with a beaded motiff. She carried a cascade bouquet of rubrum lilies, fire and ice roses, and flamingo alstromeria with a touch of stephanotis trailing with ivy and bears grass.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Pittman of Hickory, N.C. She is a graduate of South Caldwell High School and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and is employed by Reh ability Hand Center.

The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. William B. Hinchee of Roanoke, is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and Old Dominion University, and is employed by Medical & Scientific Instruments.

The newlyweds will live in Huntersville, N.C. after the wedding trip to Cape Cod.

Jones-Newkirk

Kristin Shannon Newkirk and William Franklin Jones were married November 4, 1995 in Finch Chapel, Greensboro College. The officiating clergyman was Mark A. Graham, cousin of the groom, of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Roanoke, Va. The reception was held at Magnolia Manor.

The matron of honor was Kelly Phillips, sister. Bridesmaids were Dawn Newkirk, sister; Jennifer Jones, sister of the groom; Malia Delac and Robin Hancock, friends.

The best man was Dr. Franklin M. Jones, father of the groom. Ushers were Bobby Phillips, brother-in-law of the bride; Andrew Freeman, Patrick O'Marrow, Wistar Allen, Stanley Sumner, and Jeff Sharpe, friends. Program attendants were Kimberly Moore and Robin Summerlin. The guestbook attendant was Amy Hudnor.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Rebecca Riley Shoenhair of Naples, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. Burke Wayne Newkirk of Kernersville, N.C. She is a graduate of Greensboro College, Greensboro, N.C., and is employed by Fisher Scientific.

The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Franklin M. Jones of Radford. He is a graduate of Greensboro College in Greensboro, N.C. He is employed by Wheat First Securities.

The newlyweds will live in Richmond, after their wedding trip to London, England.

Lovell-Mills

Rita Gwen Mills and David Edward Lovell were married October 14, 1995 in Crystal Springs Baptist Church. The Rev. Harry Leland was the officiating clergyman. The reception was held in the Church Fellowship Hall.

Jody Clarke, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. The bridesmaids wer e Andrea Bailey, Donna Eddy, and Tracy Nininger, cousins of the bride. The flowergirls were Shana Eddy and Jordan Eddy, cousins of the bride. Thomas Lovell served as his son's best man. The ushers were Teddy Lovell and Brian Lovell, brothers of the groom; and Joey Hayes, cousin of the bride. The ringbearer was Michael Bailey, cousin of the bride. Vanessa G. Kaczmarski and Charles H. Parker were united in marriage on August 12, 1995 in the Williamson Road Church of the Brethren. The officiating clergyman was Dr. Harold S. Moyer. Music was provided by Dr. Charles Rhinehart, organist; Garnett Carroll, pianist and soloist; N. Thomas Huffman, soloist; and a duet by Lorrie and Todd Huffman. A reading was provided by Ryan Kaczmarski and candle lighting was done by Michael Huffman. Louann Depoy served as the wedding director.

The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her parents. The matrons of honor were Lori Morris, sister of the bride, and Dawn Caldarella, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Robyn Bobbitt, friend of the bride; Brenda Parker and Donna Walker, both sisters of the groom. Megan Morrell, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.

Ray Parker, father of the groom, served as best man. The groomsmen were Brian Kaczmarski, brother of the bride; N. Thomas Huffman, stepfather of the bride; Daniel Walker, brother-in-law of the groom; Jeff Holsinger and John Eberly, both friends of the groom. Benjamin Walker, nephew of the groom, served as ringbearer.

The bride is the daughter of N. Thomas and Evelyn Huffman of Roanoke, Virginia, and Dennis and Victoria Kaczmarski of Olmsted Falls, Ohio. She is a graduate of Liberty High School and Virginia Intermont College, and is employed by Roanoke City Schools.

The groom is the son of Ray a nd Irene Parker of Mt. Crawford, Virginia. He is a graduate of Turner Ashby High School and Virginia Intermont College and is employed by Roanoke City Schools.

After honeymooning in Dunn's River, Jamaica, the couple have made their home in Vinton, Virginia. Vanessa and Chuck would like to express their gratitude and sincere appreciation to their parents, all the pre-wedding party hosts, friends and family for making their wedding a special, momentous occasion!

DeStacy Roberson, friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Kelly Steorts and Beth Steorts, sisters of the bride; and Susan Patry, sister-in-law. Brittany Wolfe, daughter of the bride, was the flowergirl. Matthew McCormick, best friend of the groom, served as best man. The groomsmen were Charles Suter, Scott Schulte, and Steven Steorts, brother of the bride. The ushers were Mark Schnurman and David Schnurman, sons of the bride. Alexander Hall was the ringbearer. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Steorts of Roanoke, and the granddaughter of Mrs. Marie Luther of Roanoke, and Mrs. Elizabeth Steorts of Winston-Salem, N.C.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard H. Patry of Baltimore, Md., and the grandson of Mrs. Mary Patry of Shamokin, Pa.

The couple will reside in Roanoke following a surprise honeymoon cruise.

Pauley-Snyder

Kelly Melissa Snyder and Stephen Gwyn Pauley were married October 28, 1995 in St. Paul United Methodist Church, Wytheville, Va., with The Rev. Dr. Charles C. Burnett officiating.

Matron of honor was Mrs. Mark Alexander Whitehurst, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Cynthia Louise Dean, friend; and Elizabeth Lynne Pauley, sister of the groom. Flowergirl was Megan Macey Whitehurst, niece of the bride.

Best man was Charles Gratton Pauley, father of the groom. The ushers were James Harvey Pauley, James David Lythgoe, and Mark A lexander Whitehurst.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. William Snyder of Wytheville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pauley of Richmond.

Sebold-Chaney

The marriage of Miss Kimberly Jane Chaney of Richmond, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter M. Johns of Williamsburg, to Mr. Robert Emmett Sebold of Alexandria, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald P. Sebold of Westlake, Ohio, took place November 11, 1995 at St. Peter's Parish Church. The Reverend J. Douglas Wigner officiated.

The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Lillian Begley and the late Mr. T.M. Begley of Roanoke.

Mrs. Bonnie Houck was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Katherine Aylor and Mrs. Mariah Millen.

Mr. Thomas Gosky was the best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Michael Sebold and Mr. David Sebold, brothers of the groom. Ushers were Mr. Richard Feltz and Mr. Ronald Butler.

Readers were Mrs. Nicole Sabiston and Miss Diane Sebold. The music was provided by Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Swiney of Grundy. The Director of Ceremonies was Mrs. Alicia Stone of Roanoke.

The bride is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and received her B.A. from Randolph Macon College. She is employed by Colonial Downs/Norglass Horse Racing Track. The groom is a graduate of Hiram College and received his Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve. He is an attorney for the United States Defense Department.

After a honeymoon to Europe, the couple will reside in Old Town Alexandria, Va.

White-Reynolds

Teresa Reynolds and Malcolm White were married October 29, 1995 in Green Ridge Baptist Church with Mr. Mike Palmer, Pastor, officiating. Tom Godfrey, brother, gave the bride in marriage. The best man was Eddie White, brother. Guestbook attendant was Emily Abbott. The newlyweds will live in Roanoke, Va.
