Petty Officer 2nd Class Ronnie A. Poff, son of Ruth O. Fornes of Roanoke, recently received the Navy Achievement Medal while assigned with Reserve Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 23 in Fort Belvoir. Poff is a 1988 graduate of Northside High School.
