LYNCHBURG MAN DIES IN CRASH IN BEDFORD CO.

A Lynchburg man was killed Saturday morning when he was thrown from his car and the car landed on him.

Brian K. Dooley, 36, was pronounced dead at the scene of the single-car accident on Virginia 811 in Bedford County. The crash occured about 1:30 a.m. State police said Dooley was traveling north about one-tenth of a mile south of Virginia 876 when he lost control of his car as he rounded a curve.

The car hit an embankment and rolled over. Dooley, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the car and was thrown under it.
