Note

SCHWAB SUSPENDED: Hampden-Sydney basketball coach Tony Shaver has suspended senior forward Nate Schwab for breaking team rules.

Schwab will be banned from play for eight games, Shaver said. He announced the suspension in a news release and did not elaborate on what rules Schwab is accused of breaking.

``I am disappointed with the necessity of this suspension,'' Shaver said. ``However, once it is completed I expect Nate to return to his role as a key member of our team.''

Schwab is the tenth all-time leading scorer in school history.
