Wendy Palmer scored 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds Saturday night as No.5 Virginia beat No.6 Georgia 94-65 in Charlottesville.
The Cavaliers (3-1) went on a 16-4 run midway through the first half - with Monick Foote scoring eight points - to open a 31-18 lead with 6:14 remaining in the half. The Bulldogs (2-2) never got the lead under double digits the rest of the way.
Foote had 17 points and Tora Suber added 16.
Tiffany Walker led Georgia with 13 points. The Bulldogs shot just 32 percent from the field.
It was the Cavaliers 58th consecutive victory at home, the second longest streak behind Tennessee's 67 victories.

Radford 70, Pepperdine 65: Kim Hairston scored 24 points, grabbed four rebounds and dished out four assists as the Highlanders advanced in the Malibu Classic tournament in Malibu, Calif.
The former Bassett standout hit five of seven 3-point attempts as the Highlanders (2-2) went 8-for-16 from 3-point range.
Lisa Howard had 15 points, including three 3-pointers, and former Christiansburg star Rebecca McNeil added 10 points for Radford.
Ferrum 96, Chowan 32: Aimee Barker scored a game-high 25 points to lead Ferrum to a victory over Chowan in Greensboro, N.C.
Barker made 12 of 20 shots from the floor as the Panthers bolted to a 54-18 halftime lead. Marilea Hale added 20 points for Ferrum and Kia Williams had 14.
Virginia Wesleyan 79, Hollins 67: Hollins kept it close in the first half only to fall to the Marlins in an ODAC game, despite 33 points from Amy Worley.
Virginia Wesleyan led 46-41 after the first half. Leanna Lillefloren led Wesleyan with 18 points. Amy Beisch added 17 and Amy Shindle had 13.
