Halifax County outscored Franklin County 20-11 in the fourth quarter to pull out a 71-69 victory over the Eagles on Saturday night in girls' basketball.
Halifax had three scorers with 19 points. The Eagles (1-1) were led by Kelli Preston with 28 points.
