VALLEY TEAMS PLAY IN BENEFIT BOWL

Little League football teams from Roanoke and Roanoke County recently competed in the third annual Abbott Laboratories Miracle Bowl, which benefits the Children's Miracle Network.

The Cave Spring Rebels (Pee Wee) defeated Bedford County's S&C Wildcats 22-0; the Northwest Raiders (Pee Wee) defeated the Bedford Cubs 20-0; the Roanoke County All Stars East (Junior) defeated the Roanoke County All Stars West 3-0; the Roanoke Optimist Club (Junior) defeated the Roanoke County All Stars East 21-0; and the Northwest Raiders (Pee Wee) also defeated Bedford County's S&C Wildcats (Little League) 6-0.
