A Russell County man accused of raping a Salem woman in her home in October was indicted by a Salem grand jury Friday.
Toby David Taylor, 45, of Dante was arrested Oct. 9 after a 20-year-old woman accused him of raping her in her home.
The woman told police that Taylor showed up at her home unannounced. She called police 40 minutes after the alleged rape and led them to a residence where she said the suspect had gone.
Salem police said in October that Taylor was an acquaintance of the family. He is scheduled to be tried in February.
