Adams retirement A surprise celebration was given on Saturday, December 9, 1995, at the Vinton Senior C enter in honor of the retirement of Roy and Margaret Adams. Roy retired from John W. Hancock, Jr., after 36 years. Margaret has retired from her full-time duties as ``domestic engineer''. Roy and Margaret have volunteered in area nursing homes for 32 years. The affair was attended by family, friends and colleagues. They have one daughter and son-in-law.
