Magna Vista outscored Chatham by 20 points in the first quarter and rolled to a 70-43 Piedmont District victory on Friday in Chatham.
Jermaine Simmons led five Warriors scorers in double figures with a game-high 15 points. Landa Martin chipped in 12, Elliot Millner had 11 and Harvey Millner and Marku Hairston added 10 points each.
Henry Fitzgerald was the lone double-digit scorer for Chatham (0-3), with 13 points, including a pair of 3-pointers.
Buffalo Gap 68, Covington 64: The Bison knocked off the Cougars for the second time this week, winning in Swoope.
Buffalo Gap (3-1) only trailed once, at 12-11. Covington (1-2) kept it close throughout, but couldn't catch the Bison.
Ryan Costa led Buffalo Gap with 17 points. The Cougars' Cory Whitaker led all scorers with 20 points.
E.C. Glass 69, Franklin County 50: Jamar Hardin scored 17 points and the Hilltoppers outscored the Eagles 27-10 in the fourth quarter to win a non-district game in Lynchburg.

George Wythe 63, John Battle 49: The Maroons broke open a close game in the fourth quarter to defeat the Trojans in a Hogoheegee District game in Wytheville.
Wythe (2-0, 1-0) won the game from the free-throw line, shooting 31-for-36 -12-for-16 in the fourth quarter. Rick Coeburn led the Maroons with 19 points.
Jason Brummett led John Battle (0-3, 0-2) with 14 points.
