A 50,000-pound piece of machinery shifted inside its crate and caused a tractor-trailer to overturn Sunday on an Interstate 581 off-ramp in Roanoke.
The driver, who was wearing his seat belt, was not injured. But the 12:40 p.m. crash closed the ramp onto eastbound Orange Avenue at least four hours. State Trooper T.A. Steele said
No charges will be filed.
