Old Dominion University will offer a master of science in education degree with endorsements in special education beginning in January through TeleTechnet at New River Community College.
A special satellite conference regarding the master of science in education will be held today, 12:15-1:15 p.m., at NRCC's Edwards Hall, room 245. The special education program provides endorsements in emotional and behavioral disorders, learning disabilities and mental retardation.
The program requires 36 graduate credit hours and one three-credit hour student teaching block. Classes will be held in fall, spring and summer sessions.
Old Dominion University offers 11 degree programs at NRCC: engineering technology (computer, civil, electrical, mechanical), RN to BSN, health sciences administration, human services counseling, business administration, criminal justice, and professional communication.
